Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

2 lb Potatoes , 2 inch cubes
1/2 cup Sour cream
1/4 cup Milk
2 tsp Garlic , minced
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black pepper
1/4 cup Crumbles , or bacon, garnish
1/2 cup Cheese , grated, garnish
1/2 cup Green onion , chopped, garnish
Gravy , garnish

Directions

  1. Spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray.

  2. Add chopped potatoes.

  3. Cover and cook 2-3 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low.

  4. Add sour cream, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper to potatoes.

  5. Use a hand mixer to blend together all ingredients.

  6. Give them a taste and add more salt if desired.

  7. Serve plain, or with any favorite toppings such as gravy, or cheese and crumbles.

  8. This recipe can easily be doubled for large groups - just increase the cooking time by 1-2 hours.
